A warm year with some late season rainfall provided perfect conditions which allowed botrytis to flourish on the already-ripe Riesling fruit left out for Noble Selection. Picked on 14th June 2006. Beautiful bottle-ageing developments enhanced the complexity of this extremely concentrated wine. Marmalade, honey, white peach, wild lilies, lemon zest, with an undertone of kerosene. Still a long life ahead!
