2015 - Fri 13 Mar 2015, 6:30pm–11:00pm
This was the fifth year Framingham mainstage was rocking with some of New Zealand's top musical talent. Swamp Thing, Sub Regionals & Big Scout had 450 concert goers jumping around in the Framingham courtyard.
The 2015 event featured power blues duo Michael Barker & Grant Haua who are Swamp Thing. Hailing from Rotorua but recently returned from Oz, Michael Barker was a long time member of The John Butler Trio and is the touring drummer with Kiwi legends Split Enz. Grant Haua is a greatly respected singer/songwriter and guitarist from Tauranga. These two unique musicians come together bringing a wealth of experience, passion and love for their craft to make blues flavoured music with a deep groove and soulful spook. Swamp Thing recorded their first album Balladeer at Round Head studio in may 2011.
Also look forward to kick ass live bands Big Scout and The Sub-Regionals, awesome Framingham wine, Marlborough craft beer and tasty light meals.
